Christene is an award-winning global entertainment leader who has pioneered a new age of women’s content and digital storytelling. My talented friend, Gage Salzano, designed an elegant, dynamic (and deceptively simple) interface for her brand, and I was tasked with developing a custom theme on Cargo to bring his vision to life.

Cargo is an interesting site builder, though not the most customizable. It’s widely favored by designers and artists for its intuitive interface and useful tools. Customizing the built-in styles and implementing custom JavaScript required some trial and error, but it was all worth it in the end. Seeing everything come together seamlessly, without compromising any of the design decisions Gage envisioned, made the effort worthwhile.
